American Foundation for the Blind: Public education has long been recognized as a crucial aspect of fulfilling AFB's mission of eliminating inequities faced by the 10 million Americans who are blind or visually impaired.
Acting on this principle, AFB developed three PSAs that dispel popular myths about blindness.
They communicate that losing your vision does not mean losing your way of life and that blind people can and do work in a broad range of
careers. The radio spots were distributed throughout the United
States. AFB
